CONTRACT FOR ADOPTION (Sale/Purchase)
of a Bengal Kitten as a Pet
 

This contract is for the sale/purchase of a Bengal kitten as described:

The transaction represented by this contract is between Deborah Cadigan-Little, dba Asian Bamboo Bengals of Ramona, California, as Seller, and:

as Buyer.

This contract applies only to the Buyer and Seller in this transaction and is non-transferable to other parties and is legally binding to all parties involved under the laws of the State of California.

In exchange for the sum of __________________________________ Dollars ($______) paid by Buyer to Seller, receipt of which is hereby acknowledged by Seller, the Seller hereby delivers to Buyer the above described Bengal kitten.

The Seller also agrees to:
. Guarantee the health of the kitten in accord with the attached Health Guarantee.
. Provide a health record that assures all necessary inoculations are current.
. Provide a 5 generation pedigree (attached).

The Buyer agrees to:
. Isolate the kitten for a period not less than 14 days.
. Have the kitten examined by a certified veterinarian within 72 hours of the kitten arriving at Buyers home.
. Provide proper vaccinations for the kitten on a schedule determined to be proper by a certified veterinarian.
. Maintain the kitten as an indoor-only pet.
. Provide a safe and healthy environment for this kitten.
. Keep the kitten clean, well-fed with nutritious food, fresh water, and provide the kitten with plenty of attention.
. Never have any of the kitten's paws de-clawed.
. Provide immediate medical care if the cat/kitten shows signs of illness or distress.
. Notify Asian Bamboo Bengals if, for any reason, you can no longer keep this kitten in your home.
. Never sell, lease, lend, give, or abandon the kitten to a shelter, pound, pet store, animal humane organization, veterinarian, researcher  organization, or any similar organization, institution, or person.
. Never neglect or abuse this kitten.
. Make provision for the care of the kitten in case the you should die or otherwise become unable to care for the kitten.
. Abide by the return privileges as stated in the attached Terms and Conditions.
. Abide by the breach of contract terms as stated in the attached Terms and Conditions.

The Terms and Conditions and the Health Guarantee, which are attached, are a part of this contract agreement.
